About me

As a software engineer, I build across very different areas: secure web platforms for in-vitro diagnostics, an internal ERP, B2B commerce with card payments, real-time C++/Qt systems, and machine learning. I like taking something from a blank repo to a thing people actually use, especially where you can see its effect directly in the real world.

Questions

What does Ozan Doruk Yavuz do?

I am a software engineer who builds a wide range of software: secure web platforms, internal tools and ERP, B2B commerce, real-time desktop systems, and machine learning. Right now I work full time at Vitrosens Biotechnology and on contract at Labonyx.

What is he working on now?

At Vitrosens Biotechnology I build secure web platforms for in-vitro diagnostics. At Labonyx I rescued the internal ERP and built the dealer ordering portal and the public website at labonyx.com.

What projects has he built?

An in-vitro diagnostics document and eIFU portal, an IVDR compliance platform with a deterministic rule engine, a rescued internal ERP, a B2B ordering portal with 3D Secure card payments, the labonyx.com catalog, a real-time C++ and Qt sensor and video console, a federated learning system for defect detection, and a .NET form builder in active use at Gebze Technical University. More are on the projects page.

Does he do machine learning?

Yes. I built a federated learning system for metal defect detection across edge devices, fuzzy clustering for plant disease detection, and YOLOv8 object detection. Machine learning runs alongside my web and systems work.

Can he work with legacy or messy code?

Yes, it is one of my strengths. I took over a large, rapidly built ERP and made it reliable and fast, fixing hundreds of fragile API calls at once with a single resilient layer, without disrupting the team using it.

What technologies does he use?

Python and FastAPI, React with TypeScript and Tailwind, PostgreSQL, Redis, and SQLite, C++ and Qt for desktop and real-time work, Docker and CI for delivery, plus Java with Spring and .NET from earlier work.

Has he built payment or regulated systems?

Yes. I integrated 3D Secure card payments through a bank virtual POS, built around a payment-intent state machine, and I build regulated in-vitro diagnostics software with a deterministic compliance rule engine.

Is he open to work?

Yes. The best way to reach me is the contact page, by email, or on LinkedIn.
